Compare GPS Models and Get the right one for your needs and budget!

When I was in the GPS market, I decided to compare GPS models to see if I could find the right one for me and my budget. Frankly, right now, I'm not much on this little device. A friend and I loved it. I knew that after what they did, but I knew nothing of what the properties were popular or even available.

Amazon because it's my favorite online retailer, I started and read all their product descriptions. Of course Isince they are Garmin, Tom Tom, Magellan and the industry leader, in that order. Unfortunately, my luck did not start looking for that information to live long. I was immediately distracted by all makes and models, all properties and prices. If you're in the market for a GPS device, GPS and six models were compared, then I'm sure you experience the same level of frustration I felt. To help you, let me tell you about some of my research.I hope I can help you compare GPS models easier and save a lot of frustration.

So Let's dive in!

Compare GPS Models and Get the right one for your needs and budget!

There are three main manufacturers of GPS devices in the United States, Garmin, Tom Tom and Magellan. Garmin GPS sells about half of it is sold, while Tom Tom and Magellan each have about 20 percent share of the market. All other companies that you stop fighting over the scraps.

Garmin has two main linesProduct, the nuvi and StreetPilot. The nĂ¼vi is the next line. Nuvis are smaller and more slender and usually pack more features for the dollar. You can get the Garmin Nuvi 200 for under $ 200. Their best-selling model, the nuvi for just under $ 900.

StreetPilot is an older model. I am a bit 'bulkier the Nuvis. But because they are old, are the prices on them, probably a little lower (feature to feature) compared Nuvis. You do not have the variety of functionsdrivers on the road as you Nuvis. Personally, I would not hesitate to buy a StreetPilot. I want to make sure that everyone knows what I would have.

Of course, you need the Garmin GPS models to compare his rival, Tom Tom and Magellan. Tom Tom is the newcomer to the U.S. market, but through aggressive marketing, pricing, and also offering a number of innovative features on their devices, have consistently taken market share from bothGarmin and Magellan.

I like the Tom Tom One 3rd Edition. Although it has a starting price, is not really an entry-level device. Tom Tom and Garmin have done? The buying public seems to think so. I do not think Tom Tom looked as elegant as the Garmin units, but in reality, that may not interest you. If you are interested in Tom Tom, be sure to check his series GO.

You can not compare GPS models and can be completelyMagellan. Some time ago, when Magellan was the only GPS manufacturer. Garmin Then came and took a ton of market share. Magellan should not be left out of the GPS comparison, however. Their Maestro line is really great, has many features and dollar for dollar, offers as much or more of Garmin or Tom Tom. I especially like the Maestro 4250 For the price of $ 250, I think that is probably the best deal currently on the market .
